Team Members
Andrea Simzak received her M.L.I.S. from Rutgers University in May 2008. She previously worked as an Information Assistant at Mabel Smith Douglass Library and as a Research Assistant for the “Seeking synchronicity: Evaluating Virtual Reference Services from User, Non-User, and Librarian Perspectives” grant project, an international research project funded by IMLS, Rutgers University and OCLC. Currently, she works as a Librarian at the New Jersey State Library in Trenton, NJ.
Ben Bakelaar received his B.A. in Geography from Rutgers University in May 2006, and is currently a Masters student in the Library & Information Science program at SCILS, Rutgers University. He is also the IT Manager for the School of Social Work.
Jeff Teichmann is a Masters student in the Library & Information Science program at SCILS, Rutgers University. He works as an Access Services supervisor at Rutgers University Libraries and hopes to continue in academic library management after finishing his studies.
Gillian Newton received her M.L.I.S. from Rutgers University in January 2008. She is currently employed in Access Services at Alexander Library at Rutgers and part time as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Union County College.
