Abstract:
The article offers information on the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP)/Online Computer Library Catalog (OCLC) Executive Briefing on the Digital Library at CILIP Ridgemount Street in Great Britain on April 17, 2008. New digital services have presented windows of opportunity for library users allowing interactive user experience, or a more personalized service by the individual. The briefing will discuss issues such as the challenges of using virtual reference service for library services.
