Abstract:

The article reports on the selection of the University of South Carolina School of Library Information Science by the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) to support its Ask-A-Librarian Online Chat Reference Service for 2007-2008. More than one hundred hours of online chat reference service per week are offered to the students, faculty, and staff at eight ASERL institutions.
