Abstract:
The article reports that the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) has chosen the University of South Carolina School of Library in Columbia, South Carolina and Information Science to operate its Ask-A-Librarian Online Chat Reference Service through 2008. The author states that the online reference service is available to individuals at the participating ASERL institutions. The author also states that the program will be operated as a paid internship for students pursuing master's degrees in library and information science.
