Abstract:
The article states that the International Resource Center of Queens Library in Flushing, New York has partnered with the Shanghai Library in China to provide an interactive online reference service for Chinese speakers in the United States called the Cooperative Online Reference Services project. The service will be available from anywhere in the world and does not require a library card. Chinese-speaking and English-speaking librarians from both libraries will communicate via e-mail with Chinese speakers in the United States.
