Abstract:
The article presents the views of several library and information professionals regarding the impact of moving from traditional to virtual in the information services which were delivered during the virtual or traditional seminar in Great Britain. Amanda Duffy provided that ignoring the changes would result to failure and unsatisfactory library services. Christine Urquhart offered insight into changes in traditional information services which include the need for a common goal or purpose and the aggressiveness of electronic-communities. Trish Arathoon discussed the developments at the British Library.
